MEDJUGORJE PILGRIMAGE, MICHAEL BROWN

[Seats issued up to weeks before trip, though prices may later fluctuate]

A pilgrimage to Medjugorje in Bosnia-Hercegovina, led by author Michael H. Brown, is planned for June 4-12, including seven nights in the holy village. The pilgrimage will include intensive prayer, talks, question and answer period, visits with seers, treks up Mount Kricevac and Apparition Hill, daily Mass, exploration of exuding statue, and more.

It is Medjugorje where the Blessed Mother has been appearing since 1981 in what are considered by many to be the most significant appearances since Fatima in 1917.

In the presence of Archbishop Harry Flynn of Minnesota Pope John Paul II once said: "Medjugorje? Medjugorje? Medjugorje? Only good things are happening at Medjugorje.  People are praying there.  People are going to Confession. People are adoring the Eucharist, and people are turning to God.  And, only good things seem to be happening at Medjugorje." Similar testimonies have been related by august figures such as Archbishop Philip Hannan of New Orleans.

See here what Archbishop Flynn related after a recent visit.

Others have done the same, and Mother Teresa daily prayed to the Medjugorje Virgin.

We will explore the issue and politics of the situation but mainly the spirituality.

This is a pilgrimage. Prayer will be emphasized. We will discuss at length the famous "secrets" and search for new information in general -- the hidden side. Especially, we will focus on the secrets to our own spiritual well-being. Father Petar, who has been chosen to announce the secrets, when they are ready, will speak to our group.

Pilgrims will stay in proximity to seer Mirjana Soldo near Apparition Hill. We can never guarantee every event but will do what we can to attend actual apparitions, especially those that may take place (depending on where the seers are) on the hill. We have tried to keep the price as low as possible, at $1,675, which includes airfare (from Boston, Newark, or Dulles); airport taxes; seven nights in a pilgrim house; two large daily meals; ground transportation from and to the airport; a spiritual advisor; and the guide (we plan on using the extremely proficient Miki Musa, who served as the guide for two previous pilgrimages). Airfare to and from the major four hubs is extra and can be arranged individually or through our agent, Bozica Bartulica -- a native of the area and an expert on Medjugorje who is now in the U.S. and is coordinating the trip for us. Bozica has been to Medjugorje eighty times and knows all the seers.

There will be daily talks by Michael Brown, who will be staying with the group with his wife Lisa. A visit to Mostar will be offered as well as an optional visit with priest Father Jozo Zovko. As of now there is also a talk scheduled by Father Petar, the priest entrusted, when time comes, with announcing one seer's first "secret."

Those interested can register up to several weeks before the pilgrimage.

Hope you can join us on what we think will be an incredible and unique journey at a special and unique time! Please note that due to unusual situation with oil prices, airline prices may increase and thus increase price of pilgrimage. Those who will be in Europe and want to join us can do so for $475 [call numbers below].

$1,725 for full pilgrimage from Boston, Dulles, or Newark [plus domestic connection]; prices may fluctuate higher; some airports full or filling.
