A friend cites the radio broadcast of a Mother Angelica episode, apparently two months before she suffered final stroke-induced aphasia.

 

The sense “I know when this will happen, but I can’t/won’t say” seems at least circumstantially related to the loss of ability to speak. That is, there is the sense that the timing of Mother Angelica’s stroke at least circumstantially prevented her from revealing the timing of the apparition’s fulfillment.

 

The prediction seems to have contained the following:

 

• An apocalyptic scenario, as just-punishment cannot be any longer forestalled.
  • Severe cold will afflict the mid-western, continental United States. (It will be an act of God, not of man.)
  • The cold will be so extreme, that railroad tracks will spontaneously twist out of shape.
  • People in remote, isolated mid-western towns will starve because of disruption of food transportation.
