Preach it from the pulpits — from Orlando to Las Vegas, from New York to Texas, up and down California!
This was the land of the free, “home of the brave”? Where were the courageous, the masses who in their outrage should have staged a revolt against the revolting: stormed the abortion, clinics, stormed legislatures, stormed courts and Congress, stormed blasphemous gay parades? Where had they been for Terri Schiavo? Would they now be emboldened under Trump? Was it not time to take America back — in this small window of opportunity, to mitigate what was coming: the disturbances, in society and nature?
That was the “prophecy” here: that a time was upon us that would bring about a complete overhaul or else a time of chaos.
Epidemics. Riots. Seismic shifts. Volcanic eruptions somewhere, perhaps at Yellowstone, perhaps more than one, perhaps under the ocean; the threat of an asteroid or comet — perhaps more than a threat; and great economic gyrations: Tremendous shortages and runs on banks. It could all seem fine, stock markets skyrocketing, consumer confidence at post-9/11 highs, employment steadily ticking upward, with jobs coming back from overseas, and then, like a house of cards — like a sand castle — suddenly all collapse.
Was this why, at Medjugorje, Mary reputedly appeared to the seer Mirjana Soldo on the second of each month and also March 18 each year, the seer’s birthday — not because it was a birthday but a date when an event would occur? (Mirjana had said when secrets unfolded, she would warn in advance and that date of the 18th would make more sense.) Did it mean a window of two weeks, from the second to the 18th, for preparation?
America!
Be ready.
Prepare with morality.
How could not the entire country, the courts, the legislators, the governor, the president, the Church, seeing this spectacle — Schiavo, her slow day to day descent into unnecessary death, with a terrified look on her face — not have shut down that facility?
How could we have gone so long without forcing lewd magazine covers out of supermarkets?
Did we really just sit back (with our cell phones, with our six packs) as they glorified a former Olympic decathlon superstar whose name had been Bruce but now, to media acclaim, was “Caitlyn”? Were folks really playing the slots at the Mandalay hours after the concert shooting? (Yes.)
No wonder Vladimir Putin of the Soviet Union, once a reputed KGB killer, and now accused of terminating political foes, could nonetheless find the nerve to castigate us for losing our Christian way — America! — and for putting good and evil on equal footing and even reversing them. At least his nation allowed public crosses and he was even photographed lighting candles at an Orthodox church (for what it was worth, kissing an image of Mary).
Russia was now the “Christian” superpower!
Or at least, for the time being.
Russia!
Noted a publication called American Thinker: “For those of us who grew up in America being told that the godless communist atheists in Russia were our enemies, the idea that America might give up on God and Christianity while Russia embraces religion might once have been difficult to accept. But by 2015, the everyday signs in America show a growing contempt for Christianity, under the first president whose very claims of being a Christian are questioned. The exact opposite trend is happening in Russia and its leaders — a return to Christian roots.”
