Spirits Of the Deceased
(copyright: not for reproduction except privately)
By Michael H. Brown
We have all heard of them -- and, perhaps, we all have been affected.
I speak here about spirits of the deceased.
They exist. The saints saw them. Padre Pio said he encountered more of these than of living humans.
If it sounds "superstitious" and "out there" -- the idea of ghosts -- consider that Jesus Christ used that precise word. "While they were still speaking about this, He stood in their midst and said to them, 'Peace be with you.' But they were startled and terrified and thought that they were seeing a ghost. Then He said to them, 'Why are you troubled? And why do questions arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.'"
This is what I want to discuss in-depth: the activities and nature of deceased spirits -- including loved ones and including my own investigation into this realm (and eye-opening experiences). If I hadn't been witness to it myself, I'd find some of it impossible to believe. I also want to review the way they may have affected your house, your family, and perhaps your life.
Parents. Grand parents. Siblings. Ancestors.
And strangers.
Through the centuries, even bishops and cardinals have recorded accounts of them.
Yes, we live forever; but also, yes: sometimes a deceased person doesn't go directly to God, lingering here and causing "things to go bump in the night" (or worse).
It's the subject of this "special report": the amazing unseen reality of haunted places -- and people.
