Rate Your Foods

There’s a fellow named Patrick Qullian, PhD., who, at the time of writing a book, Beating Cancer With Nutrition, had worked with dozens of oncologists and surgeons and more than 5,000 cancer patients — many of them “cured” in a remarkable way by changing their diets in a way Dr. Quillian prescribed, it is alleged.

There are spiritual and genetic factors in disease. But there are also nutritional ones. Whether afflicted or simply aiming to avoid a dire diagnosis, it makes sense to consider his advice, which is: exercise regularly (even if it’s just an hour or two a week); fast as much as you can; work at removing stress from your life (let go and laugh more); and importantly, pray about what your unique body needs while you follow guidelines for good nutrition.

Find joy in God and health: wholeness. Balance. Eat simply, like Jesus did.

There’s a testimony below, but first, a chart on what the researcher, one of the nation’s foremost professional nutritionists, advised. He calls it “Rate Your Food”:

[And a testimony: “A. R. was a 48-year-old female diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. After her bilateral radical mastectomy, doctors discovered fourteen positive lymph nodes. Prognosis: less than two years to live, even with medical therapy. Patient began six rounds of chemo in her home town. Became violently ill. Eight months later, went to another hospital where she refused chemo, but received six weeks of radiation therapy twice daily to the chest and underarm lymph nodes that were positive. At same time began an aggressive nutrition program including lean and clean meat (fish, deer, elk), lots of vegetables and water, abundant prayer, and a wide assortment of supplements. One month later, she was considered ‘disease free.’ Four years later, she was still in complete remission.”]
