It's in Switzerland, and it's certainly interesting. Definitely "high-tech." Unlike anything humans have done previously.
Is it also bizarre in a way science doesn't usually recognize?
It's three hundred and thirty feet beneath the peaceful farmlands of Geneva and runs in a circular tunnel for nearly seventeen miles at speeds that approach that of light, making 11,000 passes a second before one proton collides with another, yielding data on the nature of physical reality.
Or so scientists believe.
This is CERN, which stands for Conseil Européen pour la Recherche and the most powerful particle accelerator (the "Hadron Collider"), as well as the most complex machine of any type, ever constructed by human hands. Among other things, CERN is searching for other dimensions.
I'm not going to get too technical.
Let's just say the experiments have been so strange and reality-bending that even they don't fully understand what might emerge from the experimentation.
The questions I'll explore: Have secret things, other dimensions, already been exposed? Are there any dangers to the very fabric of physical reality? And why is the occult—even witchery—associated with what on the surface is a purely scientific project? Is it "demonic technology" (as Elon Musk recently called it, while at the same time proposing to building bigger tunnels for it)?
That's the subject of this new "Special Report": the wonders and dangers and amazing (some might say "creepy") phenomena this extraordinary machine, there on the Swiss-French border, near the Alps, has already generated, and what else, for better or worse, might be in store for mankind.
