THE GLORY THAT AWAITS YOU UPON DEATH

There’s a lot of bad news floating around, for sure. The media is filled with it. So are social media. There are the blogsites, with hostile back-and-forth. There are harangues on YouTube. No denying we live during times that are turbulent in society as well as our own homes.
Our Lady of Medjugorje warned at the very beginning that it was an “hour of darkness.”
But in this maelstrom, in the Great Upset, let’s keep in mind the most important aspect of existence (and also the ultimate in good news): We Live Forever. You are immortal. You won’t ever really die. Hard to fathom. Too good to be true? Your consciousness will survive death. It never ends. Your spirit is eternal and will be whisked from this realm to another at the moment of passing (with the ease with which you pass from one room to the next).
Hard for many to conceive. But countless are reports of those who’ve seen beyond the grave, cases related for decades now but piling up as never before (in part due to the internet). I thought there were a lot when I wrote my first book on this topic, After Life, in 1997. Then The Other Side in 2008. And What You Take To Heaven, eight years ago.
But the accounts are still on an upward curve and the consistency — whether Catholic or Protestant, Muslim or Jew, believer or agnostic — is impossible to explain away. In academia and hospitals, more and more are admitting as much. It turns out that actually, it’s too good (eternal life) not to be true (with such a Good God)!
Controversy? Always. For this report, I interviewed one woman whose experience is considered by many to be the most extraordinary on record, and yes, debate has always followed her. That’s what happens when your experience is detailed in a book that sells thirteen million copies (in paperback, 123 weeks on the major national bestseller list).
Anyway, I caught up with her and others, intrigued at how, in addition to the main message of what the afterlife is like, these people, known to researchers as “experiencers,” also claim to have been shown our current time and future events.
Life after death: it’s the subject of this new “special report” — the fact that, for the balanced of spirit and heart, of body and mind, death is the opposite of frightening — in fact, the best thing, if we’re well-prepared, that will or ever could happen to us.
