A TOWN IN UPSTATE NEW YORK AND A 'CURSE'

There's much darkness out there -- for sure. We all know this. No need to run down the laundry list. There are the matters in our society that scream in warning: major entertainers bedecking themselves in the occult, witches now the "chic" thing with our young (and not just during the devil's Christmas -- Halloween), raw language, another mass shooting, and public nudity as never.
And strange things?
There are certainly those. And when it comes to both darkness and strangeness -- when it comes to deadly strangeness -- nothing in recent times has been any more so than what occurred in an Upstate New York town called Dryden.
Was what happened there indicative of the times -- the spiritual battle -- we're in? Or is it more mysterious, reaching into a deeper, denser past? Or: media hype? The strangeness is such that many have wondered aloud whether the area is literally cursed.
Awful and blaring crimes and accidents happened in a way that defied the odds. The same is true of certain other places -- locales that seem or seemed to draw evil like a magnet. Spiritual hotspots. Focuses of "warfare." Did you know there's a place in Ohio with a past that some believe draws modern-day tornadoes?
It's the kind of issue, strange stuff, Halloweenish stuff, we sometimes investigate -- as we will do now, in this new "Special Report."
