Not since Vatican Two has there been so much turmoil in the Catholic Church. Will there be a schism? Persecution? A "false Pope"? Even a Roman antichrist?
Is there evil in Rome already--"the gates of hell," as Jesus put it? What do apparitions say?
Certainly there are many voices from all sides railing against it. The Church in many ways is facing a dramatic prophecy written long ago by Josef Ratzinger.
There have been constant controversies surrounding the Pontiff. At the same time, never in our lifetimes has there been such Vatican positive involvement in apparitions. A roller-coaster it has been and continues!
The question is how many of the concerns and outright fears--some of them so very vehement--are justified, and how many may be the opposite.
Let's take a sober look at Pope Francis, Catholicism, and (dare I try) the future.
